the headlamp washer motors are screwed into the bottom of the headlamps - remove both - unscrew the washer motor and delete. I just insulated the power jacks and left them loose in the engine bay. Rubber tubing I rerouted to the screen wash - so that I have an independent washer motor for each windscreen washer jet.

Removed it all! Easy job, did the same as Ronnie with the pipes.
Thanks for the nice comments guys! Getting the car ready for round 5 of Powerdrift in a couple of weeks. This time we are using the Lista track, a small track with lots of 2nd gear action, hoping to get a bit higher on the scoreboard this time
kds19 wrote:hey how does your car drive with a welded diff???
does it drive any different on corners and stuff???
Nope, just a lot more noise on parking lots. Not a problem in snow\rain or dry! Had a welder in when it was a daily drive. Makes the car more predictable and fun
(but beware girlfriends are not known for liking it )
I can't imagine its better in all situations, surely its always trying to step out in the corners, great for drifting obviously, but not on a roundabout in the wet at rush hour....
With welded diff it either understeers or oversteers in corners. What i've heard there isn't really anything between. So if you are using your car on road i would recommend to get proper difflock and forget welded diff. Because there is always need for something between over- and understeer...

If you have decent tires, on a normal pressure, your car is not gonna slide or understeer. Definately NOT. Roundabouts or whatever, it doesn't matter. It was the first thing wich I was very suprised about.
However, I've drivin a lot on open road with my welded diff (and even an at once power turbo engine) all the way to competitions and stuff. Had the most rainy days in my life and never had any kind of problem with my diff or sliding or understeering on open road of whatever.
