Just a post to say nothing has happened recently, been too busy with exams but in a week and a bit i should have some new wheels on and the rad changed.

I noticed the nearside headlight is murky, any tips to get it clear like the o/s without buying a new one?

The lense or the reflecor dude?

The lense might just be a bit of water ingress due to a bum seal. (condensation stylee)

If its the reflector, then I have no cheap fix. Replate, or replace.
Or get a Hella Grille and hook it to the driving lights. 8)

Check the seals man. Othr than condensation, I have no idea what would cause that.

Its super simple! Take the bumper off, so you can easily get to the screws that holds the whole light

Don't be scared, removing the front bumper on a 300 is the easiest thing! A few bolts and undo the headlamp washer arms and it's done. 4 screws to remove the headlight, simples

Crazy thought, but does anyone know of anybody who has fitted air operated locking diffs to a car? or fitted any no standard diff to a 300? (bar the 300 lsd) whats the likly hood of fitting a landrover diff in the 300 pan?

all thoughts

Anything is possible, you just need to think about the space you have and costs involved. I doubt anything would fit within the current housing but that's not to say you couldn't have a custom on fabbed up. Onwards from that you'll have to think about custom drive shafts and the costs go up again...

It's much easier finding a complete transmission from another car (240 for example) that will almost fit, then making minor adjustments to make it fit with brackets etc.

BIGGEST UPDATE EVER!

On monday I went down to where I used to work, after talking to my old boss he said he'd weld me in my spring cup if I brought down the strut to him. So on monday evening I got it off.

Was good to finally get under the car and do something of value.

The plan was that while he as welding in the spring cup in I'd put tyres on, on new wheels! I ended up working there for two days and for the labour he bought me two brand new KYB inserts, so im a happy chappy! he fitted one insert to the strut I took down, then I went and fitted it back to the car and drove it down for the second insert.

Opinions? sorry for the poor phone pics.

There is a problem however. One wheel seems to bent alittle, I couldnt get to balence very well on the machine so if anyone has a spare let me know please? I also need a centre cap.

I like them, the car sits better and handles better :) nearly got sideways on scandie flick :P

Not hugely keen on Pollux on 300's tbh, think I prefer the stock wheels :s Centre cap from memory is the same as Atlas and a few others though so should be easy enough to find.

Rest of the car looks amazing as ever.
