Well my idea was to put them in the V70, then see what we can fit into the 740. Obviously Ben's wouldn't be coming with us. If they won't fit, it's still probably easier for me to get them to Mark via Tom (assuming he's happy to make a suitable detour for petrol money!) than for Mark to get them straight from Theo. Of course that assumes I can sort out picking them up...
Plus, to be fair, it might be 5 of us in one car, but it's hardly a normal car...!
cheers
James

That would indeed be very nice. But just make the seat and the skirt fitt first into the car, the rims are just as an extra winter set.
Haven't even pm'd with theo about a price etc.
Petrol money will be arranged off course. I can drive to you guys, are you can heave a cup off coffee at my place. Just let me know in time what day, because I need to work monday 27th untill friday 31th every day from 6:45 to 16:00.
But the weak before I'm off!

Chris wants to take a copy of the valance before he ships it. I need to see if we can get that done in time. He's hoping to drop it off with me this weekend, so I will do what I can. The seat is no problem. I will bring my ambient temp gauge with me for Mr Borrie, too.
That timing is awkward - we're going to drive past in the morning on the 28th (9-10am?). However, we're staying in Leuven on the night of the 27th and having a few drinks with Aymat (V3M-founder), so maybe you could join us...it's not so far?
cheers
James

oow Chris told me he had dropped the idea of making a copy. Otherwise it will be for the next trip
My dad is home that day till 13:00. But Leuven is also only 1 hour driving, so that's no problem.
Would like to have a chat and drink with you guys.
Cheers,
Mark

Ok, so perhaps that isn't going to work out
I should be collecting the valance from Chris today Mark, and I've arranged a tutorial with a friend experienced in working with fibreglass, so it's still possible!
cheers

"Possible" is the word...I wouldn't go as far as "likely", yet! I need to show it to DBS, who will be giving me the tutorial. It has some damage, which will probably need to be repaired. It may also need to be painted before we can mould from it. It's currently "that damn blue colour" (219?), but the paint is a bit patchy. I believe you wanted it to be that colour, Mark. I could have it painted 219, but it might be damaged during the moulding process. It might be better to have it painted flat white (cheap) for moulding, then painted fresh 219 afterwards. Can you PM me regarding this, and we'll see what's what?
cheers
James

Hi Mark.
You could paint it Dark, at least on one side.
Cheers Mark.
