I saw a 86' 360glt for $1400 and thought anyone who can makes jet engines and trucks should be able to make a bloody car.

I did not know about Volvo Aero before this, I knew Saab had aircraft manufacturing as also Subaru, but now I know that Volvo is involved too.

But of course there were Messerschmidts too, quite many car maker seem to have some airplane related business.

Rolls Royce.

I think they might make cars too. :mrgreen:

Well, they are more like luxury sofas with enough good performance :lol:

You could get used Bentley Arnage R for price of new stupid looking car, why anyone is buying new stupid looking car is truly a mystery to me. Oh yes, spare parts do cost a 'bit' for Bentley, probably more for RollsRoyce, I wonder has anyone asked a insurance quote for one, 360 suddenly does not sound so bad to insure? :mrgreen:

I've found my 360 very cheap to insure. BMW started in aero too. Shame rolls royces jet engines is a different company to cars :(
