Try CP motors in Tamworth, Braydon Motors. Salvo. Flywheel from a 240 or 740 with a B200F or B230F...or a 940 with one of those or a 200/230FT...all with either an M46 or M47...if that makes sense? Most sources will be 940s, but late (1990+) 2/700s will have one too.

240: 1990-1993 (Introduction of 'F' engines to end of production)
740: 1990-1992 (Introduction of 'F' engines to end of production)
940: 1991-1994 (Range introduction to introduction of M90 gearbox)
It's basically anything with an 'F' engine (whether a B200 or B230, and a plain F or an FT) with an M46 or M47 transmission.

Have a the 60-2 induction pickup machined into a flat fly or use a trigger wheel dude?
I may part with the LH2.4 dog dish fly I currently have on the B230, but it won't be for a bit yet, as I need to see if it will work with the pressure plate I intend on using.
Sorry!

gonna sound dumb but what do you mean by 60-2 induction pickup machined into a flat fly or use a trigger wheel?, and no probs, let me know if you do,
whats the reason behind not useing the dul mass one? is it that its to big for the bell housing? is there any way it can bbe modified to fit?
cheers

60-2 induction pickup machined into a flat fly or use a trigger wheel
60-2 is the trigger pattern for LH 2.4, to have the induction pickup machined into means to machine the trigger pattern 'dimples' into a flat fly a non dual mass flywheel or use a trigger wheelA trigger wheel is like a flywheel but doesnt go in the same place, you can put it say at the front of the engine. It acts in the same way as the flywheel as regards timing for the ignition. Obv. the crank position sensor needs to be moved to it aswell.
I'm planning to change just the injection and ignition system on my car from the LE-jetronic it is now to LH2.4-Jetronic which is what you have on your new engine. As i'm not moving the engine in and out, it would be a lot of extra hasstle to have to change the flywheel for a LH2.4 one (if i could find one!!) so I'm planning on using a trigger wheel.
I think it's too big why the dual mass one doesnt fit, don't think i've ever head of it being made to fit.

ahhh cheers mate that clears alot up, might have to look into this trigger wheel, its just the flywheel thats holding the conversion up

need to get it sorted asap

Having it machined is likely to be super-expensive...and you'd need to start with a plain 240 dished flywheel. Yeah, the dual mass is way too deep to fit.
I'll give my mate a call...see what he can do...
cheers

cheers james would be great if you could sort me out, lie i say its just that holding me up now, a mate of mine knows a company that can do stuff like that so if worse comes to worse i might see how cheap he can get it done
