small update
still waiting for a clutch
but got a rover turbo throttle body converted to fit a volvo injection inlet manifold so fitted that and blanked off the injector holes
2.5 inch all the way through
and it mocked up with the lpg carb
and a random group a air filter i had luying about
then got onto the engine
started off with this
new end cover seal
crank and intermidiet cam seal
new water pump annd seals
swaped over sumps and pick up pipes
new timing belt+ tensioner
re fitted everything
quick pain on the block
and the rocker cover red ( with green volvo lettering .......

)
and here it is
u might see that the car has alot of lock.... ive made washers to space the bump stops in the rack all i need to do now is get the alignment set up a bit better and test it out
i also wire up my wide band lambda and started running llpg pipes but ill explain that more later on once i finished it
thats all for now

Make sure you do not have any rev limiter or you will get a big bang if you hit it!

Over the year I've had a lot of folk come to me with smashed up air intakes, blown up manifolds, damaged mixers and vapourisers due to backfires from rev limitrs amoungst other things.

yeah quite the common thing with gas
ive got a non return valve (1.5") fitted so with a vacuum its shut but if it does flash back it just puts it out the valve did it once on me today whilst setting it up (my own fault turned the adjuster the rong way

)but seemed to do the job spot on!
