The reason no one runs these slammed as in properly decked is you can't, they just sadly aren't a decent design to get them low low like a mk1 Golf or similar.
I got a blow out (hit a brick!) on the way to the scrappy a few years back. They put the larger profile tyres on the rear to get me home.
In this pic the car is pre lowered i.e stock height. Even if the front was down it would still look cack.
What profiles are they? 45 on the front?
ben..
Soz for slow reply. No they were Yoko 175/50's, i wouldn't have run them myself but they came on the wheels i got off a Mini forum so just used them until bald.
The backs in that pic are cheapo Camacs in 185/60, which i run all round now but Yoko's again.

I know 340's that are decked hard on coilies!!
Ben..
By slammed my own take on that would be like the pale green saloon on the previous pic, that looks pretty much slammed, but like the poster put ignore it, it's undriveable as the rear spring hangers scrape the floor.
Got pics?

Whats the matter with the car i'm driving can't you tell that it's out of style?

No obviously not that saloon because its un drivable on 4" blocks lol!! There is this one tho thats pretty fucking low on 13's:

Fair enough, that white one is pretty low. Do you know if it's used as a daily or just a drifter? I think what i mean is yes you can slam them then, but it would be a right pita to use it like that what with the state of UK roads and amount of speed bumps we have.
Pretty sure my rims are 7". The pics you ask what size are the tyres, at a guess i'd say the same as the front ones in my pic on previous page, i.e 50's.
At the moment i run 185/60 but i personally don't like the rubber band tyre look, i'm old skool. It's lowered 3" allround, the fronts are fine, but the rears rub a little over big bumps/dips in the road and pretty much continually with my birds fat mates in the back , thats with rolled in rear arches too.

Yeah thats his daily! I am planning on getting 3" lowered all round and then get 13's and run 185 50 or 55 tyres if i can. Whats the standard size tyre for a 7j wheel? is it 195?
No such thing as a specific tyre size for a rim, as you can see various sizes will fit and are all legal, it's down to a matter of personal taste.
Well obviously there is a specific range for a rim size, you couldnt go and put a 255 tyre on like a 6 or 7j wheel lol. A smaller tyre will have more stretch on the wheel.
The white one is used and abused. The underside of that car will not be pretty in the slightest. Although now its running a 5 link backend, he still runs it so low to the floor, which is not the right way to go about the set-up. The pics your looking at of 13inch minilights will more than likely all be 7j, and running either 175/50/13 or a 195/45/13. The front of the green saloon is on 195's Im guessing that the blue one is on 175's.
Just as an idea:
8x13's running 195/45/13's:
7x13's running 195/45/13's:
8x13's running 175/50/13's:
7x13's running 175/50/13's:
Can you even get 185/50/13's? Thats the problem with 13's, no tyre sizes available. you can get all sorts of big profiles up to 185, but generally the low pros are 175/50, 195/45 or 215/50 and that's about it. 13inch wheels are cheap to get, the tyres to make em look good? not so
Right tom I will correct u my old volvo originally came with 14s but I made the decision to run it on 13s which I did with no problem but it was all down to tyre choice Which as I skidded on them didn't matter to much yes if u ran low profile tyres it would touch the floor only if u ran low profile

We have already established this rob. You cant run 4inch blocks with 7j 195/45/13's, the dampers touch the floor! Thats why he had it on 14's... 3.5inches is pretty much the maximum, but then the dampers will still hit the floor on big bumps, oh and you'll have to look at relocating the exhaust below the axle
U can run 7j if I could have been bothered to change my tyres but didn't bother As went though them to quick there nothing wrong with exhaust under axle lot if jap cars. run same set up I used this dayin day out as my daily

If you tried big profiles on your 7's im sure you would have rubbing issues even with the rolled arches
