I see these offers (good as they are) and raise you the Rover P4. So comfortable. :D

Well, it's not like I bought an RS500 lol. The 360 had some tasty parts though, so everyone got what they wanted.
Well if you decide you want a 300 again, let me know ;)

made an improvment to the journey. How is the Escort getting on?
Cheers Mark.

Roof is hanging in that land yacht, it does that to almost all of them, it started to do that with my land yacht too right before I sold it, too damp and cold I guess.

My problem with 360 seats is that I sunk them too much, they are too narrow and too short seat section, or then my knee to ass distance is too long and my ass too wide.

240 seats when in good condition are not causing lot of sinking into seat, but they have habit of getting worn and start to cause sinking.

Also passenger seat of my 360 is world of difference compared to driver's seat as that is hardly not used at all.

Shame that I'm broke as there would of been only 100 000km driven 340 with 1.4l motor and 5-spd box near me for 290 euros, red and paint in good condition. That kind of 300 is still something I would like to have to have my set of them. Well, maybe I just get inspiration to work more, certainly these escorts and all don't help as some bad thoughts emerge

When were you driving that Speedy? Was looking at it when it was forsale, seemed super cheap for the amount of bargeness you got!

RRG this summer. I swapped it for the hello kitty motorbike which the owner of the New Yorker then crashed and got banned from all of us using :( Ah well. Top weekend full of these kinds of the shenanigans though.

Haha. I think I will be staying in the WWD camp for a while yet mate. Hopefully she will treat me as well as I treat her. :D

Just started on it today Mark, got the whole interior out to give it a good clean, and to assess the condition of the floorpans, inner arches etc. All good, thankfully! I will be repainting the floor in etch primer and then body colour to keep it tidy, will wet vac the seats etc and carpet before I refit them, and give the dash a damn good clean. The removal process was slow going in places. Working out which way to prise the brittle, impossible to find plastic components.

It's a good condition car, but has fag ash in little crevices etc and just general grime on the steering wheel, door handles etc. So it will be good to get rid of all that.

Whilst out, I intend to have the bolster wear on my drivers seat repaired by having another panel sewn in. The material is impossible to find, but I have a plan. Canabilise another rear seat. The plain section in the middle of the upright should be just the job I reckon, then hopefully it won't cost much to have the seat repaired with it.

After that, I will be concentrating on reneweing all of the bushes and braking components. I am just busy collecting parts for that atm, and finding out what's what with regard to buying the correct stuff.

Cheers mate. :D

Well Ben and Matt, feel free to come round and clean my 940! The poor thing needs a good valet since I moved everything out of my old unit and got dust/rust/general muck everywhere. Thankfully no trim got damaged, because she's hard as nails.

This escort is wicked cool in real life, probably down to all the trick bits it came with as standard. The graphics alone are worth the asking price!
