For the alloys. Almost anyone I tried will insure you for cosmetic stuff (alloys, bodykit, etc). Actual performance work is a little harder, but I have my car insured with all declared (including the bodykit not yet fitted) for a touch over 500 notes with 1 years NCB.

I still go by the fact that most of the proper oldie crew (if we for the sake of argument, use Mick as the divide between old and proper old ) just either don't use the internet, don't use good googling skills, or didn't get bored enough after the pub one night to type Volvo 300 in. They are probably looking up knitting patterns and things.
