Does anyone know what an up and running mk1 is actually worth?
Cheers Mark.

It depends on which country you're in as well. Mainland UK seems to have the lowest prices for used cars in general, probably because not so many cars are exported due to RHD ...

currently the car is stored, probably until next summer. I'd like to get it completely overhauled by then.
The condition of the car is really immaculate, with only two rust spots: both rear wheel arches at the bump stops. It has been stored in a garage all its life, so that's why there's no rust anywhere else on the car.

It is originally from Belgium though, moved to Holland in 2004. On the road again since 2010.

I'm thinking about replacing the B19A engine with a B23A; every summer I spend my holidays in the South of France and in the hills/mountains I could use some extra torque 8)

Lovely to see a MY81 with early nose and wrap-around bumpers. GT alloys are a bonus too sm4

don't forget the headlight wipers (working), mud flaps (mounted in 2012), louvres, striping on the bumpers, RX-3VQ Volvo Microprocessor digital radio, and of course the Original Volvo/Tobo B19 tow-bar

Must get round to doing something about the AM on my one.

I'll have a look for a spare FF/RW knob. I seem to remember yours is missing.
