Actually bogbasic, the. Fuel line is black in color, the fuel return line is clear, but a bit yellowish clear. I've taken out the fuel line. It's stuck because the spunge that protect the line. It's actually still in good condition, no need to replace it, just replace the jointer with new jubilee. "Chile equalize 1-1". .. ok :360: . After that, I replace the fuel return hose, and the hose that connect the fuel tank somehow, I don't know the purpose of it. Now all hose replaced, I fill up the empty tank with 2.5 liter petrol. Crank it, fuel pump working, check for fuel leak, none. But it won't start. Will try again tomorrow morning. Time for worldcup.

Hi ride on, as you said find a hose that fit's the original fuel line.. I think I bought it slightly bigger, not so big, just nice.. no pressure when I insert it, it slide trough easily. I think 1 clip should do right? The original hose have two permanent clamp. I think it's ok as long as it stops leak. What do you guys think I should check tomorrow if it still won't start. Spark plug maybe?

You might find these of help.
Make sure any hose and securing clips you use are suitable for fuel injection.
A carburettor fuel pump will deliver at about 3-4psi - your injection pump delivers at approx 36-40psi.

I havn't tried to replace this pipe yet, but I would expect it to be hard to push on if its a good fit. It can be tricky to figure out the pipe specification.

its not that hard to do mate. just make sure you get everything for the brackets and steering column. I was going to do it but didn't save the universal joint on the steering column and lost the brackets so gave up.

There are some pictures in my blog. One complication (although I am not sure what side of the road you drive on) is that the power-steering for right-hand-steering cars have a dented-in exhaust down-pipe for the clamp on the joint on the steering rack.

You just need to click at the bottom of my posts where it says more info here! and look at years 5 - 7. Your rack seems to have more bits on it than I had on mine....

Have to agree - doesn't look like a "Volvo" rack - aftermarket conversion perhaps??

Mac

I'm sending Zack a load of info so he'll soon work out whether he has a std. setup or not.

Looks something like that with a remote servo clagged onto the rack.

Maybe i'll zoom a little, and remove the plastic covering. A friend of mine said I just need to find a suitable power steering hose and that's it, need to put it all together. Power Steering Rack-checked, Pump-check, motor-checked. Yes thank you Mac. I'll wait for your documents. This will be a cool DIY Project.
