Hi

I've recently bought and had fitted a reconditioned suspension strut for my 340. I've sent my old strut to Classic Swede and used Parcel2go too and was shocked to see the same message. In my case, this happened after Hermes had not collected the part when they said they would and I had to re-book. After going through Additional information, I found that a different parcel number had been allocated and it is now (fingers crossed) making it's way to Anglesey.

Hope you get your carb ok Mac

It would seem the same thing happened - "the message" would appear to be P2G/Hermes way of saying they didn't do what was asked of them.

I'll confirm receipt as and when.

Mac.

I have been having problems getting parcel2go my Hermes to pick up a parcel and have asked for a refund, they said they would give me one yesterday... Still waiting.

Looks like I will have to pay royal mail extortionate prices.

The website says hermes will try to collect the item again the following 2 days if no one is in, however that never happened, hence why we have ended up here. I'm not going to bother asking for a refund for the first parcel because from previous experience, their customer service is totally useless.
However, save charging outrageous postage prices, it's the only way now that royal mail have upped their prices.

It hasn't been collected yet today, but I don't plan on going anywhere.

Just to let everybody know - parcel was collected as expected and was rec'd this afternoon!

Mollusk is a happy bunny - he has a disgustingly filthy carb to play with - exactly as expected!

Great, glad it arrived all good!
For some reason I've found 1.4 carbs always look like that. I've taken 3 off scrap cars and they all look horrific. :D

Excellent! I couldn't find a couple of the bolts but you should be able to pick them up easy.
