is dai a retailer, i emailed him thinking he was a shop asking for prices? im going to put some pictures up of my 340dl on saturday, it must have the coolest alarm system ever, seriously ive never seen anything like it. its got a key hole next to the boot witch you turn to activate the alarm which is a huge sensor thing stuck on the dash,

has anyone seen those koni front dampers on ebay, anyone think there any good? plus is it ok to mix different dampers on front and back and can you stick any make of spring with different makes of dampers. plus anyone no if you can get a full set anywhere. i was on a swedish page the other night which looks like they sold uprated rear leafs but i couldnt translate it and i cant find it again!!!

yea not bad, but the tyres going need replacing soon on them, i like those 13 buy 6.5j ones on ebay but if i get them im not going to be able to afford to lower the car for a good month.

Yes you can mix and match springs and dampers( provided you use axle sets) I am kind of a retailer in my spare time. My dad runs his own buisness converting cars to lpg and volvo repairs.

hi dai, what would you reckonmend i want the car to handle well and dropped a good 40mm maybe more, i got about £250 to spend on wheels and suspention, have you got any parts for sale?

With £250 to spend I would go for a set of front springs £50 new dampers all round and rear lowering blocks.
If you can afford it go for the spax on the rear at £120 a pair.
Adam 340GLT has made a nice pair of rear lowering blocks.
For the front make sure you mesure you current ride height.
Poly bushes are available to replace some of the original ones. The front wishbone bushes do tend to crack up.
One of the biggest improvments is to fit good 185 or 195 tyres.

The fronts could be ready by then too.
