His ride is almost rock hard and he is the fastest car on the track.
This the autoballans system under his car, it's quite simple and works very well :) He's only not allowed to drive a race with the system.

Looking at that system does that ballon inflate against the spring to stiffen it? Cant quite work it out fromk that pic.

Yes, you can inflate it as stiff you want. The idea is that the car becomes more stable during cornering.

I bet a handy person could come up with a system to adjust the stiffness of the ball from inside the car... that makes it even sweeter!

The Spax ajustables can be set to make the rear so stiff you can not compress the springs by pushing on the back of the car. They almost completly eliminated roll on the rear.

ZOMFG zombie thread, run for your lives........

But while it's up, I'm curious about those autoballans things, but can't seen to find much info on the internets. And what are Niveau Plus rings? I assumed they're donut type spring assistors for the front coils... Interesting.

Ps: WOOOOO.

60mm blocks should be fine, mine is running 75mm ones on the back. and the front i just lopped off 3 coils ( not at once though - just incase)
this was the result

and it still drives ok, but you will know about every dip and bump in the road, and so will your floor pans

EDIT: remind self to check post dates

Yes this is quite an old thread. I now own these lowering blocks and I have since modified them to work with my double leaf set up.

There's so much talk of 60mm lowering at the back and thats something Im going to have to do really soon as my back end has went up!

Those rings are great to stiffen up your front coils when you chop of a couple of windings from a stock coil. I did it on my previous 360. Worked great. I have the autoballans balls, but your rear needs to be lower than stock for them to work. Otherwise they will not make contact.

ATM I am running new yellow adjustable Koni shocks front ( with stiff coils) and rear (+ aux coils mounted on the rear axle) and I love it! I have installed all the PU bushes and the Dai sway bar too. It now handles like a true sportscar minus the speed.
