Maybe there were car theives and that caused the high murder rate. Then there were none...

You sure are having some bad luck and I really do feel for you

I follow Foggys advice and hardly ever take the car out :P I'm very lucky, in that the car has a garage, and this seemes to be a fairly good area.

I bet the police will show no interest, but I trust you've reported all the incidents, they may be able to increase the patrols a bit.

MJ's right about reporting it, for statistics if nothing else. No one reports, then your street will be seen as nice and non problematic, and never get thought of for things like extra street lamps etc.

I do feel for you mate, if there is anything in the loft I have that would hepl, shout (no centre caps I'm afraid)

Anyone who doesn't frequent the VOC forum, Dai's dad had a slighty worse incedent with t*ssers lately, and the purple 240 trailer is no longer around. It's f*cked up, havn't met 990 in person, but seems a great guy on here, and having met Mike a few times, and the times he's helped me with bits on Fake and Kar, it just isn't playing the game.

Here is what I have decided to do:

1) I am not giving up on this car - no way, not a chance, never
2) No one is getting the better of me, I will show them that I can make the car even better than it was before they got their hands on it

and....

I aim to meet you all as soon as I can get to an event (sooner rather than later) :D

Thanks to all the support and offers of help - as always it is appreciated (more than you can imagine)

Cheers all

John

That's the attitude mate! As has been said before, don't let the b**tards grind you down. I dread leaving my car anywhere, mainly through the lack of care people pay it as it's 'old' thus instantly rendering it useless, uncared for and worthless. This as most of us know isn't the case, it's my car, that I own, that I've paid for and look after, what gives anyone else the right to damage someone elses property. John, you're really not having a good time of it.

Violence isn't my thing.......however this makes my blood boil. Maybe a V3M meet after dark needs to be arranged for John, think of it as a Volvohoodwatch scheme. I don't think they'd do it again, John gets to a meet, and no more vandalism.

Good luck mate.

Pete
