V3M Photo Competition

Hmm. I have a few good pics, but it would be boring to enter them and not do new ones. Maybe old photos could be entered, but not voted on, or a seperate poll...

I think we just need to start this, see how it works out, see what problems arise.

Sounds good to me! Perhaps the winner from each round could decide the title of the next one? Or have a casting vote if it can't be decided by the rest of us?

Now that, is actually a very good idea

The only problem I can see is that a topic could be suggested which gives that person an unfair advantage, thus leading them to win the next comp

How about the winner gets to choose the next topic, unless they won the previous comp, in which case the second place person chooses?

And andanyway, I'm sure most of us will come up with fair titles

Is competition running already?
I think we need one thread where is only instructions and pics from competitiors, then comments should be other thread.

I've just got back from shooting some, my first time out with the SLR in about 3 years, so I don't know how they will turn out! will have to wait for them to be developed

Pffff, forum has a bug, stickies never are green but red at start, well at least that is my excuse

I do have an idea, but I will not say anything about that until I have took pics

I'm sure many will delay uploading pics until last moment so others won't get their winning ideas

Thats why you upload them, yet only pm the link to me, I then have an idea how many contestants we have, yet no one else sees the photo's!

I'm however still gonna enter, but I don't think it's fair for me to win if I have seen other entries before hand, as I'll know the standard. Might have to be winner of last comp takes over this duty if a non photo taking dude doesn't volenteer, so I get a proper chance!

As I can't use car as much, I can volunteer to help running thing after this first round if needed too.
Also I do have unlimited bandwidth at my site so can help in that part too if needed, I can make own coppermine gallery for this etc.
