I'd never used a Bank Transfer until recently, seems simple and safe enough, plus I seem to think it's free unlike Paypal, could be wrong though! Apparently there are online forms for certain banks to make life simple.

i got the clutch and maneged to pay by paypal by using his email its 5% more money then banque transfer but the banque here they asked for 4 % so i went with pay pal i didnt see the point of go ing 40 km to the banque when i could do it from my own home 1 % more expensive plus think of fuel waste
Plus I Discoverd my Redline has central locking

and heated seats
That was a surprise as thers no electric windows and stuff

Very nice indeed, shame about the rusty bits but looks like you've started on it the right way.
The engine bay looks very tidy. If the carb was genuinely that clean inside before you started on it, then it looks very well looked after, and I suspect you'll have a very nice running engine. Interesting that its got the water heated baseplate, must've gone over to the electric preheaters in 1989 then (the water ones imo are better)....I need to get out more

Yeah thanks i havent touched the carb as it was coverd with a plastic bag for obvious reasons (when Cleaning With water and engine cleaner)
The engine is running really well @ 500rpm

(ideling)
but....(engine running )when my dad opened the oil filer cap after saying what a good job i had done oil spluged all over his sleeve

and he says this is caused by excese presure in the engine

as it is worn and old is this normal / a problem? and can it be fixed?
Cheers

Possibly excess blowby yeah. And that's a fairly high mileage engine you've got there too.
However, the camshafts are very close to the cam cover on that engine, so they will throw oil around the place if you lift off the cover whilst the engine is running.
Another thing to check is all the crankcase ventilation hoses are clean and clear. I'd take them all off the car and give them a good spray through with some carb cleaner.
As to the idling issue. I'd check for air leaks, carb base is a bit of a favourite on these ones. There are other threads dotted about with the procedures on.

will do

its a bit better after the oil change.
err could the hole that was in the exhaust make idle funny? and having no air filter at the moment?
cheers

yes and yes , having no air filter will make it run lean due to too much air getting in
