so tom and fuse are tying for the youngest at 18 and dekaydad is 47 years young any more contenders at either end of the spectrum ?

Yeah, thought I'd join in. Been reading the forum on and off for a bit though. Now if only I could find what I was going to reply to...

'fraid I don't push the age extremities, since I'm 23. It's a fairly familiar story, though. My mum bought our volvo off a friend when I was 10, then it became sorta mine, now it's all mine

The only thing is not only is my car mocked by others, it's also mocked by volvo 300 owners too---it's both the unreliable 1.7l engine and a (apparently) ugly saloon.

It's not doing too badly though. It's been through all the carburrettor problems and works, and has the oil-in-the-distributor-cap problems, but not that badly. The only thing is it's slowly going from metallic-green to rust brown. I haven't a clue how many miles I've done, but I've gone through 3 speedo's if that gives you a clue! :/ The clock went over to 160 000 miles last month, I don't think it's too far wrong, but it is mostly just guessing...
