Sorry, I meant the additional small fuel filter near the fuel pump for injected cars (I've edited my post) ... There was a thread here a while ago where a guy said he couldn't source the part anymore.

The larger fuel filter in the engine bay should still be available too, I bought one from Volvo not long ago ...

Cheers

Not so uefull is that austin/rover metro ones are nla and 340 ones fit them very nicely.
So, if 340 couplings fit the Metro then presumably Metro ones will fit the 340 in which case this may be worth a shot at around £5 delivered...

Well... that PSA part that I have has a PCD of 50 mm so it's not an exact match, because the Metro one had 48 mm according to the information in that auction.

Are we reasonably sure that Citroen BX couplings will fit the 340? If so, they are available on Ebay.

If we need any measurements to compare I can take so me as I managed to get hold of a NOS steering damper off german ebay a couple of months ago.

Brake pads available in Australia - although have to be specially ordered from Bendix if aftermarket ones, cost is A$110 excluding shipping.

No new off-the-shelf 360 parts available in Western Australia at the Volvo Main Dealers. All has to be shipped over from the Eastern States. A set of Genuine Volvo Brake Pads costs A$144 or 87quid or roughly 100 Euros.

There isn't a huge demand for new parts over here, as there are only about 3 left on the roads in Perth - including mine.

When I fetch these Brake pads I'm going to see what other parts are still available. I know it's daylight robbery, but there's not much I can do about it :)

Steering coupling - GSF PN 433PC0010 £10.70 (mentions PAS but I think they are the same)

Also GSF list the electric window motors: PN 873PO0010 , 873PO0020 £98 each

The GSF part is still listed as a PAS coupling, can anyone confirm it is for non-PAS? It says on another thread there is no damper on PAS, but its not clear this is a damper. maybe its a UJ.

Keep us updated on that steering damper part, if the GSF part fits, let us know :-)

I emailed GSF, and they said it is listed for non-PAS and PAS. They sent the following (unclear) picture. It doesn't have any integrated bolts, but hopefully thats not a major obstacle.

I've just bought a Citroen BX steering coupling which I'll hopefully try to fit during the next few days. I'll let you know how it goes but visually at least it looks identical to the original Volvo item.

I have now fitted the Citroen BX steering coupling and can confirm that it is a direct replacement for the Volvo item. Whilst I couldn't see much wrong with the old coupling the new one has definitely tighted-up the steering and cured the vagueness in the straight ahead position. Not bad for £6.50 plus a couple of quid for postage.
