Yes indeed - I've been meaning to make another post. The original kit is now here in Derby, ready for the valance to be sent to Dave Slater. However, before I get it to him we need the deposits in to confirm that we're going to go ahead. I'm not sure of the exact timescale as its all a little complicated, but I think we probably talking about needing the dosh within the next two weeks or so - if folks can manage it!
cheers

The front valance is all that's being offered at the moment. Since we're about to go, we might as well just collect the full amount right-off....which is £80. I'll post up in the next few days about where to send it. Once all the money is in, and the original kit got to DBS, the work can begin. We'll have to allow about a month from there, as it takes time to do a decent job in fibreglass, and this is being built 'from scratch', not just cast from moulds. Having said that, Dave is a good guy, and I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.
THTBT has (I think) just bought a spoiler from Dave on ebay, so maybe he can comment on it?
cheers!

Hi people... Sorry, but I haven't been on here for a month or so, except really briefly the other day - didn't actually read any stuff tho'. Anyway to catch up - James, I would be definitely up for the group buy, BUT as you quite rightly stated, I did purchase a 480 rear spoiler on flea-bay, but it still hasn't arrived and by ebay standards it's been a long wait IMO. As I only give ebay sellers one chance to impress me, I'm kinda thinking about refusing for the time being, especially as I've had no communication from the seller. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!!
HAPPY (BELATED) NEW YEAR 300 SERIES OWNERS!!

I think for the group buy we will try to establish a timescale here, and I'll keep in contact with Dave regarding how things are going. Hopefully that way the communication can't break down, and no-one gets concerned. Before anyone 'signs on the dotted line', I think we must all be aware that this is a complex and time consuming business, and there may be delays. Having said that, delays are in no-one's interest (not least mine - I want my original kit fitting ASAP!).
THTBT...I'm sure you'll get your spoiler - maybe emails have gone missing (heck, it happens, especially with Hotmail - if either of you are using it). For what it's worth, Dave's been waiting longer for his twin carb manifolds from me

However, they get posted tomorrow...
cheers

Well, to clarify, the description said this: '...its expected that due to xmas period that delivery may not take place until january' . It has been January now for twelve days, but let's not blow this out of proportion - I'm not that fussed, but just not particularly impressed, that's all! I certainly haven't received any correspondence, either - but then again I haven't e-mailed you yet - so I wasn't expecting any, but if there's some sort of delay it would be nice to know about it. Still, as long as I receive it sometime then I'm not likely to hold any grudges, you know! The sooner the better though...
