As it stands now, the title says, ''Finally I got a 340'' now I got 2 340's.
As some of you may know, I've bought the green more-door with a f7p up her arse. Basically it's everything I wanted to do to the Red one (my pics went walkies) but it's all there. Piced it up this afternoon. Got the old man to drive it back, and he was in stiches all the way. Got her home, my mate said he heard it from the otherside of town......god it's loud!
I'm really impressed with it at the moment. Can't believe how quick it is, still not as quick as woodoo's though! I've got things needing doing heres the list so far:-
Petrol Tank needs to go back underneath. The fumes are bad inside the car and it also presents a mega fire hazard. so in the interest of safety, she's going back under.
I just changed my steering wheel, slight bit of play in the column I think, but I'll check all that when I get under it.
Put my omp bucket seat in and harness
Buy a hydraulic handbrake
Then finally suspension, in the form of refilled and landy shocks.
Here's just a photo from the for sale thread in case you haven't seen it......
And the 1400...........
One question. Which gear box would be better for drifting? In the 1400 I have a 4 speed, in the green one I have a 5 speed. One has got to be welded, and I'd rather do it to the 4 speed and put the 5 speed in the red one. I need to take more photos, found my camera, now I cant find the leads and software to put them on my pc!

Hi, I have an F7P I am selling, I removed it this week from my valver which I use daily as I bought a tuned engine to stick in instead. It runs fine and always has done since i have had it. I can deliver for cost and can also fit it if you like.
I am after £120 for it as its a nice one with good oil pressure and pulls very well

I am based in Gloucestershire but can deliver for cost.
Cheers

Bide your time like I did. Things pop up. I saw 2 engines on ebay a few weeks ago, 90 buy it now, both didn't go.

Found out that the play was infact the big nut holding the boss on. I'll tighten it when I get round to it. Still ponering with swapping gear boxes over. I need to change the logbook over now to 1800 then get some insurance.
Major issue though, the tank is a shapped aliminium one in the boot. I'm not kidding I was felling pretty sick the other day, so as soon as the seller finds the tank I'll be putting it back underneath. Any ideas what to do with the pumps? Should I just cover them with a metal box? As soon as this is sorted I'll be able to drive it, as it is now the fumes are litteraly killing me.
I may start a topic, but I was wondering can anyone make a step by step guide to making a badgeless grill? I know you dremel it, but theres a little step in it where the badge goes and I was wondering how you get them flush.
As for ASSet, bonnet has now really begun to rust quite bad. No rust anywhere else though. It needs a wash and polish though. I got a rally on the weekend so putting new pads n discs are out of the question. Boot also needs a lock and the diff is whining a bit now going down the box. Any ideas. I'll replace the oil in the box and diff (is it the same? What do you use?) when I get to do the brakes.
I know this thread is worthless without pics, but I've turned the house upside down looking for the leads and software to go on my pc. I'll ask my mate to come over tonight with her laptop to get some pics up.
