again I received some koni's, brand new. It's getting boring



rear koni's and front koni's for a 340 1.4 (86-1990), but they are better then the standard volvo shocks.

But I don't know which one would be better for my car:
- seconde hand volvo 360 front koni's, stiffer but used...
- brand new Volvo 340 1.4 koni's, less stif, but brand new..

which one would be better?

the clamping sleeve of the grey 360 was broken.

unfortunately it isn't available anymore in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the UK (yes I've checked all of them!)

Day 1: removing everything (fuel pump, wheels, gearbox and diff, etc...) and give the beam which holds the gear box an anti-rust treatment.

Day 2:


the 360 on supports, gearbox and diff on the ground, a shiny beam and my dad cleaning some parts.

nice and shiny beam, this will never rust again!

after 4 ours everything was back in place and the car was driving again after 6 weeks

OK, I get it! That's the second lot of leather seats of yours that has made it's way over here then Was it from a hatch or a saloon? I still have a saloon backrest left over (from my hatch conversion) if you need one Mark ...

Folks who want Konis keep an eye on Autoteile Hilt - they seem to get them in now and again. Beware, they don't take Paypal and insist on direct bank transfer which from the UK will cost £15-30. But the parts are cheap to begin with and totally transform the handling of a V300.

Another source is Limal Autoteile. I've bought Konis from them in the past ...

I don't remember whether they took PP or not though. Within the Euro zone, IBAN payments are free.
