Whilst on this topic, Just wondered what shockers would be best suited for a drop of either 2" or 3"?
I've read that some people use Land Rover shockers. But Classicswede has Spax for sale.

Help? sm1

Is it a simple case of (land rover shocks) rears for rear and fronts for front? Or is it 2 pairs of rears? or fronts for rear and rears for fronts??

So thats dropped 80mm @ the front so just over 3", is it driveable on the road or too stiff/harsh?
What sort of clearance have you got on the lowest part?

I'm undecided whether to go for a 2" or 3" drop, unless you can go 2 1/2"?

80mm is driveable if you got the right springs(i got dai spec ones there) and stiff front dampers.. Had spax and 2" bloks on the rear..

On my current daily drive i got 70mm retuned leaf springs and 80mm lowering at front.. Thats on the limit for a daily

-2 to be safe.
-3 will ground your box, exhaust, sump on bumps if your shocks are worn/old.

And I thought I was the only one :)

My thoughts have turned to lowerment. Whilst I like these size tyres, I'm getting a bit tired of looking down at all these 4x4 drivers...
