I hope he's been buzy doing work for his course,it's exam week now. I dont think the pink jokes would have any effect we're very thick skinned up North. Neither of us have spent as much time online as we would have liked lately, I'll tell him you were asking sm4

From a motor factors I think. First he got Mum one (fair play, she did try to drive the 360 into the garage with a door open once...), then he produced one for me (yeah, Happy Christmas Dad!). At least he bought himself one too, so it's all fair :)

How about a 940 GLE 2.0 Turbo estate, circa L reg? High-ish mileage, but it's a redblock. It'll be cheap...

nagh. may as well just get a 700

gonna see if the seats from a 400 would fit a 300 first thou.

Whats actually the difference between the 700 and 900 series.. is it just a change of name and a facelift from the 700s?

Shouldn't be hard to fit. If they don't fit straight in just take the rails from 400-series too.

Why just get a 700? It's the same car, but with a more powerful engine, and a more aerodynamic shape. I'm not 100% sure on the price, but we're probably talking around £600 for a 10ish year old car. Heard about it last night, but details are hazy...

Insurance on the turbo bit is the only barrier I can see.

940s are almost exactly the same as 740s...in fact some of the last 740s actually got the 940 front end. The dash is slightly different, but again some 700s got this. I think the number change was a marketing move as much as anything.

i know this, hence a 700 would be cheaper :)

i can get on a 740 tubby for under £600 a year, but thats still lots more than a 360. would be thirstier too :P
