How friendly did you find the guy? He seemed pretty unreasonable in his emails...maybe annoyed that they hadn't sold on ebay....twice!
Good snag (again! damn you!)...get us some pics
cheers

Yes, I found him 'odd' - he seemed very relucant nego. at all, despite it being obselete stock. This time he said he had still got them & to make him a reasonable offer, which was £50 - reply came back saying £75 was 'reasonable' which was the original price anyway ? ! Managed to get him down to £70 provided I paid cash !
The shop is quite a large performance car acc. shop for the saxo boys, so I guess he deals with plenty of tossers & incorrectly assumes all his customers are !! I didn't meet him, just told one of the youths on the counter & he knew what I meant.
For somebody with such a different type of stock, I would of thought he'd of just been glad to get rid of them in October, instead of titting about all this time - takes all sorts I guess !
Will take a photo of the kit laid out & then in-situ. How do I attach a photo to a reply ?
Cheers,
john

You need to put picture file to some webserver and then link to that file. Perhaps photobucket could be one to use?

Good to know they are actually going to be used and appreciated on a 300! Let us know how they go and what they're like! I was pretty impressed by them, but didn't feel I had a need for them really!

I think I offered £60 incl shipping at first, then £60 plus shipping. I can't see why he didn't grab that second offer rather than messing around with paying for an ad in the caravan club mag for the sake of £15. I came to the conclusion that he must be the tosser...! Maybe I should email him offering £100 just to mess with his head

Ah..but then he's probably got another set...and I'd have to buy them.
Before I got my webhosting I used the free gallery space at the VOC site. Then just hit the IMG button, paste in the image URL (note: must end in .jpg or whatever file type you've used - not the URL of the page on the VOC gallery), then hit IMG again.
cheers

well done John the only downside is that now you will have to get them on before the easter meet so we can all see them in action, we can do this by playing that old game of how many students can you fit in the boot of a volvo. LOL
