When you're running car 90 whatever every forest in this land will be rough as a badgers.

BTRDA national series will be 50+ miles of abuse.

Best off sump guarding the entire length of the vehicle.Triangulate every possible suspension part.

Oh and ya under the bumper spotlights should last 100yards

Seriously if ya goin in the woods every seam will need welding to a high standard, chassis braced, poly bushes everywhere. It's no small task preperation is the key.

Good luck whatever ya decide.

funny you should mention the spot lights, they lasted a 1000 miles before i took the exit at my mums place of work at too much angle its a 85*+ slope with a corner and well i caught one and threw it under the wheels . and i kicked the other one of weeks later. i just have two stumps. that was a year ago now. so my sig is an old picture :)

yeh, its just looking more easy to buy a preped ford etc, to save money.

filthy, ive only pics of the other parts of the stage i just watch the tarmac stage as i dont have to waste fuel then :)

Dude, building a rally 300 is a sensible idea (ok, it's not, it's a flipping stupid idea but I still prefer driving cars I enjoy rather than cars that are quick). Why not do a road rally? In the grand scheme of things, it's gonna cost you 60quid entry and maybe 40-50 in jungle juice so won't raise your pennies total by much. See how well you do and if you enjoy it, then you can start moving up the ladder from there. If you do well and the car behaves faultlessly brill then get an entry in for a single venue (if it's something nearby then awesome) or your local stages.

You learn so much about what's competitively wrong with your car on 12cars and road rallies.
