That sounds a like posher than it is
That doesn't sound posh - it sounds kinky!

I'm a nurse looking after sick kids. I used to look after very sick kids and razz them around in high speed ambulances. Now I just work with common-or-garden sick kids which isn't quite as exciting but is much less stressful.

All kids are sick.
I've seen them pick their nose and eat it.
And that tastes horrible.
Though a bit like salty popcorn.

Probably.

Often wondered what it would be like to have a proffesion that came with free added job satisfaction.

currently enjoying my sixth year as a foster carer .

have looked after 9 young people in that time and have two with us at the moment .

very rewarding work but can be difficult putting broken kids back together ,
we specialize in disabled young people from ADHD to cerbal palsy with a bit of autism and aspergus thrown in for good measure ,
we also help kids with drug and alcohol problems.
theres only one that we feel we failed with and he ended up in a specialist centre as we were his last chance after being with 18 other families in four years.

and you know this how ?

its a bit like dogs ,dont blame the dog for its behaiviour blame the owner

I dont believe there are any kids out there that really want to be bad , just lots of parents that are really shit at parenting skills.

No matter what kind of parents are, at certain age, they all eat goo from theuir nose, flys, almost anything  It is when they start to explore newly discovered world around them and find out what is difference between me and a dog or at least close there.

Baby brain and adult brain work quite lot differently, transition phase produces lot of amusing situations.

But I totally agree with redline, parents today don't understand responsibility of being parent, they don't understand that drinking reason out of them is bad thing because as parents they should always be available for child to give protection, care and guidance. It is job of lifetime and there is no life without child when one gets a child, still many think that they don't need to change how they live when having a child.

Then we read news, teenagers get stabbed, teenagers hang out at town as they are too afraid to stay home, 3-5 years old are seen walking alone at winter night and when child is transported to home by police parents almost ignore that incident, like there would not been anything wrong, naturally parents are too drunk to take care of even from themselves.

It would need only tiny bit of thinking before action, but today one is excepted to only act based on current emotion, that is going to be really bad thing.

There should be license for getting kids, something as challenging as commercial helicopter pilot license, but in child rising aspect.

I'm a student studying Electronic Engineering - although I'm currently on a placement year for Peavey Electronics (musical instruments). I actually work for the 'MediaMatrix' R+D lab. We develop products for large scale commercial installations (think Wembly, Emirates Stadium, Disneyland, Reichstag etc). It's a Linux based system running on custom hardware, and very geeky! I mostly do acoustical/hardware testing rather than software luckily!. My last job involved projection/wiring and Subtitling at Dolby Laboratories, which got very dull, and before that I'd been a sound engineer whilst at University, which had some unsociable hours. Basically, I'm into audio, electronics and being a geek. Suits me fine. :D I finish my placement in about 6 weeks, and work on the 340 engine, brakes and suspension conversion starts properly then! 340pw

I'm in a little 8 person office about 50 miles away from where all the stock is! But otherwise, you know I would. The problem with bass guitars, is when you slip one down your trousers it's noticeable. Normally, I can pop a 6-string down and walk around all day without raising an eyebrow. (Cue new thread...'What instrument(s) do you play).
