Cheers dude.
No bother to me to keep the 340.
I honestly love it.
Be a shame to miss out on my dream ride though.

Babump!
Checked the papers, and:
Taxes paid til
31.12.09 - near enough 6 months!
MOT is due this month (good job I checked !) - I'll put a nice fresh 12 months on if for anyone with a serious offer around my asking price.
It looks like the lad whos car im buying may be in a bit of a hurry to complete, so if theres no other interest from V3M, its going to have to be rolled down the Pistonheads, Ebay, etc route and i'll make what I can......
Cheers everyone for all the kind comments and help.

Goodness me... lovely car. Shame about the wing. Did you not think about getting it replaced on the insurance??
I've fallen for a GLT up the road, but the bloke is now fudging about over whether he's going to sell it or not. If he does finally pull out, I'd be keen. I'd be keener with a straight wing and an MOT, mind
In the meantime, good luck selling it. And that's a nice 240 you've found there. Lush.

Full MOT going on this week so will be sold with 12 month test and 6 months (ish) tax.
Ive been happy enough running it with the wing as is.
Not keen really to buy, paint and fit a relacement just to sell the car at this low price to be honest.

Understood!
I'll give it some quiet contemplation over the next day and maybe PM you. Am keen, getting arsed about by a GLT owner in town who was gonna do me a deal. Now, he seems to think it's worth £2000 because of the scrappage. Amusingly, he's not BUYING another car - let alone a brand new one.
RAGE!

Looks like it's gone to a good home ... maybe?
I'm sure a 200-series will help ease the pain from selling it

If people don't want to help themselves I'll be damned if I'll be doin' it all for them.
It was never for me but the boy couldn't be bothered to even make a phonecall so it's his loss.
If I wanted a mk2 I'd spend a weekend screwing mine back together.
I've got D/G but could be intrested in a wind turbine

, see what you've got bud.
