wel the lowering blocks are just some box section with some flat steel welded on the end
as long as its think enough steel it should be fine just make sure its think enough
mine seem ok even with my axel bent

well after lowering it the side exit i made hit most speed bumps and im not rely a fan of side exits so out came the welder and grinder and i also put a flexi joint in as its daft volvo no putting one so under the axle and out the back it went tucked up as high as i dare with only one mid box of a escort lol its pretty quiet as well but firstly i made some check straps to stop the axle dropping away and hitting the exhaust so looking round and thinking what i could use i saw some old seat belts cut them to length bolted them to form a loop and bob yours uncle they work spot on just a one pic as you cant see alot and yes there is about 3 different pipes to make it come out the back as i didnt have one piece long enough and i couldnt be arsed to go buy a bit needs finishing like grinding welds and tidying up the rear hanger

Seatbelt
Do you not go over 1000rpm or something?!?! I'd be worried as hell of the fire risk
Actually, I still dont get what it's actually doing... so scrub the above

nar it wont catch fire it hardly gets warm there and ive made them so when the axle travels to its lowest it not hit the exhaust
as ive tucked it up as not to scrap they arent tight against they is plenty of free play in them
