Nikdev, I just wanted to say that this car is possibly the sole reason that i now own a 300.
Awesome development from the car you first bolted some wheels to, into the full-on machine it is today. I hope that i can reach this level of win one day.
Keep it sideways, and keep it volvo!

uuups got one pic to times on that last page.. It not such a big job, just cut off the originale legs and weld the bottom sleve of the coilovers on, like this:

but the problem is that xyz coilovers are a bit long so you cant get the cat low enough and still keep it drivable.. too short stroke on damper\spring=bouncy ride and you get the 3-wheel action.. Believe me it was not easy to drive it

So I raised the front end a bit and attended a auto slalom event to see if it became nice to drive

And yes much more controllable! Btw check out the lock, modified steering knuckles for the win!

but i cant have a track car that's higher than my daily......................................

So today, after christian got home from work we made this:

Christian is super steady with that welder:

Later on after some hours of construction, measuring and welding the front went from this:

to this:

And the ride height with lots of travel on the damper: (and i can still adjust it allot more further down )

Job done! Just some painting to do tomorrow

Effort mate the travel is the issue i had on my coilovers so i'm sinking the bottom of the coilover through the hub to do the same thing.
