jup, i was pushing waaaay to hard on icecold tyres and semi wet track  massive understeer, but on the other hand i knew that and i should've braked...
it was a big bummer but well. at least all safety precautions worked. throttle stuck open costed Frits an engine once... thanks to the revlimiter and ignition/fuelpump cutoff switch i have no engine damage.

well atleast i "upgrade" any part i break. whether it's a durable material or a upgraded construction. so i'll probably never have any throttle problems again
and i'm making a part for the clutchcable aswell, as a precaution. and made a list of many more things i'm going to change or do different so atleast i'm going to be busy soon.

i know you all like pics, here's a list:

upped the boost to 10psi, dramatic driving change! spoolup is much quicker and more agressive and i feel a drastic increase in power... will continue to take it up till 14psi over the next few weeks while monitoring the AFR and EGT to make sure it's safe under all circumstances. later this year the injection conversion but this will be a lot of fun for the summer :D

cool eh, and i haven't even started working on a proper suspension (the way i want it to be) yet... :D

it's all stock apart from these things:
fully polybushed front suspension
Intraxx springs on the front, halflength twinleaf setup on the rear.
V300 koni red dampers on front, adjusted to 2/3
V300 koni yellow dampers on the rear, adjusted 2/3

Great video, what's the spec with that S60? Grips well and sounds great, is it 4wd? What about the silver 360? - looks like it has suspension mods, perhaps an exhaust?

so what do you think about the next item in the stainless steel gallery
it's only a prototype, atm i'm refining the parts and modding the drawings to make it really beautifull

car is doing brilliant! apart from a few minor problems (as usual 8) )

one of the 2 10" cooling fans broke, so now i'm designing a free-hanging bracket for 2 12" fans to upgrade it slightly to accomodate the bigger turbo and future demands on the engine.

broke the shortshifter while parking in front of my house
Image

fixed it the same day though, welded it back together and it's still doing fine, am considering a 100% new one though
Image

boostcontroller started living it's own life, wich was cool, as at 17psi mixture was getting a tat near lean but still out of knock zone so i hugely enjoyed the power increase.. a few km later i accelerated and by the time i realized i was peaking 19psi at 5000rpm it started to stutter and throw flames, then idled at 3cyl. thought it blew a hole in a piston.. turned out it melted a spark plug; lucky me! lesson learnt; keep it at 10psi till it runs on standalone management with ECU controlled boostcontroller.....

and earlyer this evening i blew a CV joint, ripped the splines clean off at the differential end; that's a first
