Yes, the
PRV V6. (Peugeot/Renault/Volvo)
You don't really want one (well maybe you just like the shine!

) because they are more show than go.

Went to a local Volvo specialist today to have a chat about my 240, outside i was pleased to see this rather lovely 340. Sadly it's a more door, but thats the only thing going against it IMO. Apparently a few years ago a girls parents bought her the car to learn to drive in, sadly she passed away and the car has sat in a dry garage untouched for the last 4years. It's a 1.4 with 22.000 genuine miles from new, and the front valance would suggest that too, being the cleanest i've seen in a long time. From what i could gather the garage has purchased it but wouldn't really say what they plan doing with it.
Anyway here it is:

Hi, no I've been working in Norwich for 4 years but I don't live there. A friend of mine spotted it as we were driving past and I had to go back for a closer look!

I saw 3 cars in 3 weeks time, just unbelievable!!
The first one, when I was leaving Ollerton, just after the BKV on Monday. Somewhere near Boston if I'm not wrong, I saw this...
Then, 1 week later, on the parking of a supermarket in Brussels:
It was the car from an old man, he was reading the note I left under the wiper...
And then finally, last week, a nice 340 diesel!!!

Keep at it Aymat - it's worth it, as I've found out from experience

My 343 DLS came about from just such a note ...

I spotted this beauty on a rival forum (
http://autoshite.com/phpbb3/viewforum.p ... 5438eea631), anybody know of it? They are clearly within the Friends of the Volvo 300 club, but are they involved in the VOC at all? The car also appears to have 2 rear-view mirrors...

Looking at the reg, -26V, the sandwich board and the wheels, it appears to be a MY80 car. "B. EDMONDS"? Mac 'il know.

Yes, I'd worked out the MY from the combination of the wing 'Volvo' badge, the bumper and the wheels.

Thats a great looking motor. Not mant left in that condition.
