Hello, Not been on for a while got a few things done:

-New Coil fitted
-New dizzy cap (thanks to sven360)
-New HT leads (thanks to sven360)
-New exhaust bracket fitted, just need another bolt and washer :/

-Got new Spark plugs (thanks to sven360), just got to be gapped and installed
-Got some 10mm spacers (thanks to sven360), tried them on the volvo wasn't too happy with the minimal amount of thread the nuts held so am making a profit on them :D
-Electric mirrors could possibly make it onto the car this weekend.
-New backbox worked out on paper, just need to get it done in the metal.

I have some photos to upload somewhere but that will wait lol

haha aye they looked good when i fitted them like but there was like 5mm of thread left on the studs past the alloy. Drove about with them but didn't like to give it too much round roundabouts etc lol

Tried fitting the Electric mirrors last night, took drivers door card off, found half the window mechanism lying at the bottom of the door :/

Then went looking for the rubber cable duct that the wires would need to pass through into the car, found it very hard to get the wires through, and the same from the other side. So I've given up on doing them, more hastle than they're worth. I'll clean them up, work the wiring out 100% then post them up for sale :)

Photo of the new exhaust bracket and my rotor arm, does it look in good nick?

Have now replaced rotor arm, car is running great :D

Exhaust has started blowing again where the backbox has been rubbing on the drive shaft (excuse for better backbox), fanbelt(s) has started squeeling (not hard to sort i don't think), my wheel nuts are getting to the stage of needing replacing (OEM ones seem extremely easy to damage)
12mx12.5 thread am i correct? Haynes manual says nowt about them :/
Also what are the dimensions of standard wheel studs, one of mine is shorter than the rest and i don't trust it

cheers

edit: and a pic i took after replacing ignition stuff:

I was looking into wheel nuts, needed to know the size. Cheers! Want some anodized ones  It'll put some colour into my black n silver car!

I think that shot of the rocker cover is fantastic Nimminz, the processing has brought out the texture, makes it pop out. Awesome.

is it? thought it would have stopped a bit of flex in the back of the car, make it a tad more rigid? Sure i've seen it done on here.

It wont cost me anything for the metal and keeps me occupied lol
