Can't believe I missed this thread! I like 205's ... flimsy but fun :-) Future classic too.

Ghey bumper photos end....

Scored some suicidally cheap white 14" pepperpots (with new tyres) from a mate, so theyre going on at the weekend.

Also need to clean the engine down, seems to be leaking oil from everywhere (camcover, sump, maybe more) so leak chasing has been added to the "things to do" list.

Bike carbs and a 421 still somewhere on the horizon... :?

The jack of death lives on!

Gotta love how much difference linseed oil makes! Just keep it out of the awesome direct sunlight we are currently 'suffering' whilst it cures.

Engine needs a bath for sure. Hopefully next time I won't knacker one of your scouring pads during post-car preening. That, or I'll fetch the Swarfega next time.

Yeah, think I need to invest in some manly cleaning products.
thats on the list after "a jack".
Suicide death jack is unkillable. Never failed yet. Which is in no way tempting fate.......

Oddly, now that the belts changed, the engine seems much quiter, the induction noise (whistle) seems far more pronounced, and the BLOWN HEAD GASKET!!!11!! warning light has gone off. Again.

All of which I approve of.. Cant see how any of that is related to the alt belt like.

Gotta love french cars.

Cheers Theo.

Rich, I think some bairns mustve put them on or summat. :P

Update again - the sidewalls are rubbing against the actual body at the back, so theyre basicly too big. :?

Its un-lower it, or get smaller wheels. So I guess im going back to smaller wheels again.

Why is nothing ever easy for me???!
