Ok I need some help asap please, I know ppl have already explained it but I'm haveing troble finding the info on my phone,
I've spoke to a guy near me who has a few 940's in, he whants to know all the info I can about what car it needs to come from, I'm guessing stuff like the year, the code on the engine, modle etc, I need as much info as I can to tell the guy,

It's all earlier in this thread, but it's basically any 2/7/940 with an F or FT engine and an M46 or M47.

For a quick visual check, it should look very similar to the 360 one, but with a larger number of smaller holes in the timing pattern.

if you have not found a flywheel yet there a 740 b200ft with a m gearbox at harbury lane scrap yard 01926 335 210 hope it helps

dose the lh2.4 flywheel have abit of a dish on it?

It does yeah. Hence the term dog dish is often used to describe it.

im not sure mate, there is possibly 1 but its in a scrapyard in london so its a postage issue with a scrap yard, waiting to hear back, sell me yoursssssss :p lol

i know there defo 1 at harbury lane breakes i seen it yesterday thay said i could have the engine and box for £150 if not try ebay theres a few engine's on there ask if thay will sell you just the flywheel

anyone know it the one in my local scrappy will have the correct flywheel? its a 940, on a k plate, and its a b200ft, looks to be a 4 speed with overdrive maybe? if someone can confirm its the right one i will get them to whip it out tomorrow

I'd expect an auto flywheel to be incorrect. Could be wrong though, anyone?

i think its a 4 speed manual? i dont know if the switch in the meddle of the gear knob is overdrive?

has anyone on here used a trigger wheel? if so could someone make one for me? would obvs pay, still got cash waiting for a flywheel

you can buy them, 60-2 trigger pattern.

cheers mate, ive been advised againsed them now so looks like its back to the flywheel hunt, think i might just take a gamble and get my local to get me the one off the 940
