That's some great news. Nev is always good entertainment :)

I'm happy to volunteer my car, Mac.

I can probably sort out a couple of commercial plasmas and some small speakers for playback, etc, but it's not the sort of thing I can get for free. I'm sure the VOC can assist with that...! Playback from laptops (etc) is probably the way forward.

cheers

James

Looking good,

Can I leave it in your hands James to investigate plasma screens, costs etc ?

I think two - one for "sport", one for "repairs". I sure, between us we can rake up
a couple of laptops (assuming they'll drive your screens.

Mac.

Had a natter with Foggy over the weekend and we reckon that if we use the CS trailer as a stage with just one curtain open and put the screens on the bed then they'll be at a good viewing height for people at ground level, but they'll also be sheltered and shaded. One at the front and one near the back gives ample space for the massive crowds of viewing public we'll get (!) and the only people who need to have access to the trailer bed are those operating the equipment and they can use the ladder at the back and get in through the back doors.

If we try and turn it into a cinema then we'll need a proper set of steps, chairs and then it starts to get a bit silly, esp if you think we'd need extra insurance cover.

Excellent idea Rupert - a mite more secure as well.

We could actually "cluster" around the CS making it the V3M base.

I will bring my 3mx3m "gazebo for use as one display area ( reman parts and repairs?)
but we will need at least two more for use as a "sales stand" for Robbert Jan, me & Dai.
and for a "sport" display.

Also - important - we need a banner - perhaps:-

V3M w w w.volvo300mania.com
THE forum for the V300 enthusiast

Do we have a printer on the forum who can suggest from what, how, etc, ???

Mac

Actualy that has given me a thought. Anyone know of someone that wants a 300 or 240 LPG conversion doing at that time. If I get my old man with me we could do one very easy in a day! Would be willing to do a discounted price. :D
