It doesn't quite look like it but there is just enough room for two 300's, pretty easily with the cupboards removed on one side. You see where I'm going with this one...
Do it, and then you can say that you've got more roadworthy and used 300's than Foggy (the Volvo Owners Club 300 series register keeper!)

I realised that I still haven't really posted any decent pictures up, so here's a vaguely decent picture - now sporting a Mk2 GLT grille badge :) Taken at a local classic car show at a pub in Warwickshire (this would actually make a great BKV venue), it was probably one of the newest things there, but in good company with some other 80's cars - in particular this 635CSI. Driving the 360 around is making me vaguely consider getting another one for a daily, as I'm sure there are other rust free versions about and other than that they're pretty bullet proof :)

Well took it for it's MOT this weekend, passed first time with no advisories. I had a feeling there was an exhaust leak but seems it must just be an aftermarket noisier than standard part! Probably some rubblish like Bosal

Congrats on that MOT! And good luck with finding NOS exhaust parts :-)

Thanks Tom!

We'll see, I wouldn't hold out much hope for finding NOS parts! :( It might be worth having a stainless system made I guess as the 360 exhausts, especially aftermarket never seem to last that long :( Maybe I'll combine it one of Dai's 360 manifolds.

On my old daily, the (Bosal) spaghetti-shaped rear silencer was the main problem with a replacement needed every 2-3 years. The center section tended to last a bit longer ...

This one's pretty cheap:

They usually cost a bit more than that, even Bosal ones.

I found I have a NOS middle box and back box in the garage, although the backbox is meant for a saloon and is a straight through Mk2 style, so not sure if that'll even fit and may protrude at a strange angle anyway  That's a good price though, will keep it in mind :)

Had a feeling they changed the bore on certain years as I've had that problem with used exhausts before. Will have to see what works out!
