The wheel is an Italian OBA affair.

Lovely feel and great build quality. The horn plate was off some JDM hoop back in the mists of time.

What surprises me is how much there is rust under the bonnet, some cars get that and some don't Yaris seems to suffer from it or at least this one does.

Yeah dude, the rust in the bay is bizarre. It looks like its been parked with the bonnet open for 6 months or something. (I know it sat for a year outside a guest-house litterally on the seafront, which MIGHT explain it.).
Mrs VND has a Yaris of the same year with very similar mileage , and the bay on hers is immaculate.

Now, people like to cut that thing to half and make a big ass scoop from front half of it, you can even paint it pink or something along those lines. Not sure if you have such children toys as you are bit more limited in snow department, but maybe some local shop in Scotland might have such, just remember to answer YES when they ask "are you local"

Putting one to roof would provide rally looks without any functionality at all, but putting one to hood might provide boyracer like nonfunctionality.

Shame that pictures on one old Skoda has been lost from the net long time ago, it had many of such features that might or might not be something you like.

It was an electric chainsaw, it also had minor issue with chain coming off at full speed, whole 'blade' actually got sometimes bit loose and thing felled off quite often, but I think that I managed to burn electric motor out while cutting pine logs, around 40cm diameter.

Danger is new normal, yesterday french crap tried to kill me as I moved it on yard by pushing and I got bit stuck between door as wood pile and wall of house came bit close, luckily there was oil barrel and trailer to stop the car just in time, got only bit stuck

My new fun is lifting logs, 120kg is current record, rural life is bit different

Oh yes, I let chainsaw to burn, cursed piece of junk, suffer the ultimate fate of doom and something along those lines.

Painting in wind sounds quite nice, that is how I did matte black french crap, also it did include driving at gravel roads before and not washing before painting, gives nice paint flaking off effect...

I have great axe, Fiskars, you just can't cut log very well with an axe, it will cause a lot of wood to be wasted, also I still have around 20 trees that have diameter more than a foot which I need to chop to firewood, need chainsaw for that.

Have been chopping with axe over 8 hours at best days, it is a lot of work to make all this firewood, but In coming years I don't need to do quite as much.

Chopping wood is good for your health, unless you chop your own leg

Worse if you cut your own "wood!!"
