Managed 89 on the M62 the other night...I just bottled it then. The engine was SCREAMING (it's only a 4 speed ffs). Also the car becomes really unstable at that speed.

Well, at least it'd be usable as a time machine. Just. 89 mph.
(Ive a feeling that half the people on the forum won't get that joke. bah.)

And it is unstable btw! I jerked the wheel to the left a slight bit and it rocked about like I don't know what. Felt like it was gonna just break off and slide everywhere, so my nerves got the better of me that day unfortunately.
I'll try again tomorrow night

110! can you hear anything at that volume?! Ironically, I probably drive slower on the motorway since I've had the 360 purely because the windnoise annoys me too much over 70! Maybe this can be seen as a good thing?!

i got up to 160kph a few more times, i'm not gonna be doing it for the next few months though, sydney sent up a police unit to our area, saw them yesterday, 3 highway cars and a dozen bikes camping a random breath testing station (RBT) on the north side of town. i worked out the top speeds for all my gears now except 5th.
1st - 40kph
2nd -80kph
3rd - 120kph
4th - 170kph
5th - 200kph??? more???

About the sound of the door trying to fly away into the sunset can be easily fixed....
Just remove your last sound damper and install 2½"-3" straight out and you now wont hear the sound from the doors due to the earbreaking sound from the exhaust system...
Yumm!

True, If you head to the northern territory there is roads with no spd limits... however i'm not up for traveling 1800k's (not including the trip back) at legal spd limits just to plant it on a straight dirt road in the middle of nowhere, and to hit a pothole at 160kph... pass...
