swapped the alloys for the ones off my calibra so they owe me nothing , the stereo was all out of the redline (head unit , amp , shuttle and 6x9's )
new jbl 6x4 's and jbl dash speakers were £20.00,
acoustic parcel shelf £30.00 ,
lights came to a total of £40.00 (£20.00 rears £10.00 front indicators and £10.00 for side repeaters
£5.00 for the rear headrests and £10.00 for the seat covers powerdisc vented and grooved discs + GTi pads £50.00
so in total it owes me
£400.00
I have just got a scorpion stainless exhaust for it for £80.00 cost £350.00 new and only used for two months

Yes it is.Ask Mr Red if he pays his mortgage, bills etc by buying carsgerm wrote:buying and selling cars is dream
Far easier to do it as hobby if you're up at the end-well good-if not don't fret.
When you do it for a living and things are stagnant as often happens-unfortunately the bills keep coming

there is no way (with a wife four kids of my own , a disabled father ,a disabled foster son and a lovely border collie to support ) that I would depend on buying and selling cars as a living .as Sven said its just not viable for a regular income
whilst I get paid the same for fostering as I used to earn at work ,
the true reasons I do fostering are
1 ) that if I can make a difference to one kids life ( which I feel we have done for Nathan for the last two and a half years )then it will all be worthwhile .
2) it means I can be at home for my two youngest children before and after work and during holidays
3) I can be a full time carer for my dad
4) I do get some "me time " which I devote to my HOBBY of doing up and selling cars
don't forget I do also have a decent pension because I was medically retired from the tv licencing authority, industrial injuries benefit , child tax credit and family allowance coming in plus my wife works full time.
I'm not boasting but our monthly income is about £4,500 after tax however our mortgage is £1,000 a month before all our other household and motoring bills ,
we are not rich just comfortable so the cars are very much a hobby and not a means of earning a living , I wish they were
