Front Brake pads now UNAVAILABLE from Volvo - at least over here.
HT leads UNAVAILABLE - though these can be bought pretty much anywhere
Distributor Rotor Arm UNAVAILABLE

Not all doom and gloom though.

Spark plugs available at 36 dollars a set
Oil Filter is 23 dollars plus tax
Sump plug+washer is 8 dollars plus tax
Air Filter is 31 Dollars plus tax (cheaper than aftermarket one!)

Dizzy arm unavailable is a bit of a problem... though if it's the same as a 1.7/1.4 one it's just a bit of brass rivet'd onto the plastic.

Surely the same as a 700 etc though?

Brake pads, my local Ferrodo stockist still do them. They are the same as an Audi 80 (for lates at least) so should be avail for a while, I get 3 or so sets a year for Fake.

Well, I thought I needed new front brake pads as I sometimes/rarely get a groaning noise from them - no vibration though.. Whipped the wheels off to check the condition earlier and there's about 5mm left on the pads, brake discs are a little scored, not enough so they need machining, no "lip" on them. - obviously not a real issue yet, but I'll look into getting some brake discs aswell. Probably sooner rather than later!

Volvo found be the wrong Air Filter. The price quoted for the Air Filter is actually a 1.4/1.7 340 one..... god knows where Volvo Australia got that from as the 340 never made it over here.....

Volvo 360 Air Filter here is A$130, thats around 60quid So i'll be looking elsewhere.... Could probably get a K+N filter for that price!!!

Havn't bought service parts form the dealer for years (20?), most where available from Euro car parts much cheaper same brand. Not sure these days, but I see Mintex do pads and have always used Bosch super 4 plugs, pretty standard item. I've pretty much given up on the dealer now, even ECP is not supporting the 360 much nowadays, can't get the OE pads anymore.

Notes: Bosal list equivalents of 667503 and 3100099, but some aftermarket exhaust suppliers cross-reference them as one and the same thing. I'd say the OEM Volvo 3100099 is thicker than some aftermarket stuff supposedly doing the same job. I've two left from 4 years ago as they fit DAFs too. Now what's the score with door hinge pins? In Ireland I have to buy 'em in bags of ten. In the UK, I can get them individually and a lot cheaper. Strange, very strange. The reason I have two orders on the go was some bits are for my other car and some bits are for USA.

My boss phoned SC's and they still have headlights at £80+VAT
