That's a oil-separator box for crank case breather so yes you need it.

Erm...not as far as I'm aware. The PRV V6 has an off-set bolt spacing, and the whiteblock has a roll-pin key...but the redblock can go on any one of 8 ways round, and only one is correct if you're using the crank position sensor.volvodspec wrote:the flyweel can only be mounted in 1 way
