well, it's long time since i wrote here something, but really nothing special was done to my volvo

very reliable car, I'm very happy with it.
So recently i only get rid of that "sport" type air filter and put back the original filter box and new filter, which appears is not so easy to find in my country where the most popular car, for reasons that are not understandable for me, is VW golf, passat and Audi
And also just found out that if put and LED into clock, it begins to glow not green, but some blue nice color which is very atractive to me
so i also put LED`s to my lighter and blower regulator
And also now thinking of putting LEDs to speedometer, hope it would be the same effect as in clock, lighter....
If everything OK i hope next week you could see the results

the weather isn't so bad, no big wind or lot of snow, but it is terrible cold. In some places even -30C.
It was -25C in the morning when i drove, even colder i think during the night and tires where like made from plastic and i was driving up on the bridge and on corner my back run away, the car spin and i hit a barrier fence.
I think if not such cold weather the bumper would only have some scratches instead of cracking

Don't think i've seen this car, looks nice!! I have the same wheels on 195/50 tyres, they scrub the rear arches but mines got 1" lowering blocks and -40mm Springs
Did you see any extra fuel consumption after fitting the cone filter?
The rust should be relatively simple to fix, no cutting and welding. Did you manage to get it repaired after the accident?
Nice car mate, makes me wish mine was silver

I haven't really measured the fuel consumption exactly, so can't tell if there was any difference but there were no drastically changes. But now i'm back to original filter

And yes the rust is kind of easy to fix, in some places even no bondo was needed

And i didn't finish yet fixing the bumper after the accident:

So more progress:
fixes that awful rust, don't mind it looks terrible as i'm going to hide it under the sideskirts
also sprayed the sides and back with some kind of stone protect resin

refreshing front lip
the doors are done, but the passenger side didn't gone very well so have to respray that
and there were a big hole under the lip
and the bumper is a few evenings of work away from finish, so only thing would be left is to prepare it for paint

So the fight with rust is over
and the bumper is almost ready for paint
and it is on car again, but the paint will have to wait until the temperature rises bit higher in garage
