Pug lover? Oh crikey...just when we were beginning to like you!

Tell me it's something nice like a 205 GTI?
If I get hold of one, I'll probably do you a swap, as I could use a working Smiths econ gauge.....but it must work - mine doesn't, hence why I'm vaguely interested.
Give me a few days, and I'll see what I can do. Beyond that, it's a case of playing the waiting game!
cheers

i wish i could afford to run a gti im sorry no its a 106 diesel but it looks lovely.

As long as it's not a butt-ugly (at the front mainly) 206, I'm happy

It's a mechanical device, so no wires...and I already have the pipework!
Let's see how we get on anyway.
cheers

see shows how much i know it doesnt need wires.
know i kinda of like 206's but to many problems with them its a nice small 106 old shape.
but having a boyfriend that is in to volvos is making me like them more but i quite like the 480.

480s are good fun, but potentially highly temperamental. I'd like to have one for a few months to try.
There wasn't ever a 340 GLT btw, so either someone has been tinkering with the badges, or...
cheers

yea i know there never was i am informed it is because it is a 1.4 340 with a 360 front panel with fogs 440 alloys glt interior electric windows elctric mirrors, boot spoiler, glt front spoiler, and red line inserts in bumpers. wether that makes sence or not

thats quite a lot of work he has done - surprised he hasnt found us!

by 5lab
incidentally - on the auction were a LATE vdo econometer - because of the red, and an EARLY temp gauge - the C is in the wrong place, and the ticks at the top of the gauge aren't right, and the font is too square, for it to be a vdo gauge
... jeez, am i now more of a gauge geek than james?

Aah....I understand now!
Of course you're not more of a nerd...I said that (admittedly not in as much detail...but the same stuff!) days ago

I am the uber-gauge-nerd
