Re: Photos
These are some of my favourite car pics. I restored the green 2cv outside my house during 2006, the Trabant was pushed through the front of my mothers house in August 2005, the blue Zastava has just been rescued by a friend of mine and is now being prepared for its MOT test and the pics of the yellow Polonez and my Zastava were taken at an East European rally at RAF Cosford last Easter.

Haha my Dad had two FSO Polonez's in the early 90's (I still have the front badges somewhere!), - IMO better than the Lada lot at the time. It was replaced with a 345GL that was far superior despite being 6yrs older! Although the 1.5 Polonez did manage 95mph a few times

Re: Photos
That is amazing Steve, my father too had FSO Polonez at 90's, it was pickup version
Poor Trabi, what it was done to deserve that fate

Re: Photos
I'll have to dig out a pic where a Mk1 Fiesta crashed into the back of it on the way to North Wales, writing the Fiesta off and making it undrivable. The FSO had a slightly bent numberplate panel, and sprayed with the Fiesta's coolant but other than that it was fine, and we drove off for 2 weeks holiday
The first one was funny (earlier Polonez), when it was icy the rubber boot spoiler & front spoiler used to expand into funny shapes

Re: Photos
Sorry about bit low quality of photo, I did run out of light from my pocket cam and it was only thing with me. This is small road that leads to Särkivuori, which is very steep hill here.

Rising sun at near Huhtakangas:

Bigger version http://jtbo.pp.fi/images/road_pics/kesk ... as_iso.jpg Almost 8600 pixels wide
Noon at Sikosuo:

http://jtbo.pp.fi/images/road_pics/kesk ... uo_iso.jpg over 14600 pixels wide
Fox:

Moon:

Intersection (not very busy one, mind you):

Finnish country road, just before huge 60 ton truck came to opposite direction on that road, things were interesting as there was rather tight corner and it did use all of my lane too:

14-40cm of snow, it is quite a workout to walk in that stuff, it was only -22C to -17C while I was walking there, not very cold, I was sweating a lot
Lots of blue, for my naked eye snow is quite blue at shadow, some think snow should always be white, but I disagree, I try to just put colours how I see them. Sometimes not easy, sunlight comes too yellow and snow too blue in same photo, it would require some photoshop but can't be bothered with that, as spirit of location I see same in photo as I saw in there, it should be enough, imo.

Re: Photos
Haven't got time to go trough all of shots yesterday, but there were few nice, imo.

Few roads:

Few animal tracks, which animals they do belong to?

I must note that on that area there were no human tracks, only those animal tracks and then mine of course, but for whole winter I was first human to walk on that area
One car had gone past that place, but nothing more, lovely place

They grow:

I don't know what kind of man eating plant that will be after summer, but I do hope some eating will be involved at some point

Tiny bird chooses largest ball, does that mean tit has balls?

Re: Photos
Good snaps Ben! I must get out with a camera sometime, but took a few I quite liked at the York meet

This would've been ok if I didn't accidentally miss part of it out...

Wasn't the easiest of places to take pictures with the sun shining through the roof in places!
