That's was me, stag weekend in Newquay, a long drive from watford with 13inch rims, lots of petrol lol.

Interesting car! Very early GLT with contact breaker points (no renix electronic ignition) and old-type door mirrors.

no contact breaker points, it's actually quite similar to the renix system but has a hall effect sensor in the distributor instead of a flywheel pickup

This summer during my holiday in France, I've seen this beauty in La Rochelle...
That was so exciting! The owner was at home and couldn't believe that someone, living so far, could stop for his car

A very sympathic guy, it's a daily car working perfectly. He knew V3M and has solved technical problems thanks to the board.
Shame for the black windscreen surrounding! But a very nice car!

I was stopped twice by a lady who said she had one once and her grandson really misses it ;

This thread is grinding to a halt. Not seen any except my own since the VOC/V3M Haynes day last year. I think they must be nearly extinct in their natural habitat now out on the road in everyday/weekly use by ordinary folk....unless you know otherwise anyone? (I except from this ones owned by us, other 300 fans and drifters of course, we know there are plenty left there!)

Here in upstate New Malden its the same... I saw a silver saloon being used for the school-run up till a year or two ago.... and I haven't seen the white hatchback smoking around Tolworth for about the same amount of time, although its still there....

A few weeks ago I saw two white five door 340's, a red 240 estate and literally three streets apart are three 740 estates!
I know of a red 3 door 340 in regular use a few streets from me and the other side of town is an ocean blue metallic 5 door 360 GL.

I haven't seen another one in the wild since I passed a parked one in Hove re-sprayed some kind of flat light blue. That was something like 2010 I think.
