Most of those have gone to car heaven here, there is something in them that makes them easier to scrap than fix, maybe some expensive issue or general rotting, don't know so well.

Should be at least economical to run, maybe even to insure too, unless higher spec models affect to baseline there.

I don't know what it is about certain cars, but some no matter good or bad they may be have a way of getting under your skin. I think the 205 falls into this category., i've never owned one myself, but a mate at school had a 1.1 povo spec one. It would rev it's nuts off all day long without ever breaking anything, feeling quicker than it was, but they do handle well. That got replaced by a 1.9 Gti which latter got an Mi-16 transplant, it constantly chewed up driveshafts, eventually getting relegated to his front garden, before falling victim of tin worm. Funny times, good memorys.

More recently another mate bought his lass her 1st car being a diesel 205, one of the last made i think on an M plate or something, really tidy inside and out, low mileage, and awesome MPG for £250, what more do you need

Same a my R5GTT, the second most unreliable car i've ever owned, but still there was something about, the dashboard made of lego, the body panels made from Kitkat foil, stupid torque steer. Some cars just have that "thing", so i herefore say well done VND and lets see some pictars
