Ok, so I send you pictures of the family's collection (me and my father)
A brillant little 340:
Ok you know this picture but I love it, it seams I've been driving to Colorado. In fact it's been taken in the Dolomite mountains in Italy last year.
Then the 82 GLS
Behind you can see my sister's 84 Peugeot 104 ZS
And last but not least, my new 83 GLT:
It is in a restauration process as you can see:
Before
After
Volvo rules, keep on visiting the forum!!!!!

Thanks for the offer 5lab, the wheels I have came new with the car and all I am missing is a wheel trim. I have no storage for spare wheels as, although the space is available, I have yet to build a garage.

There are couple pictures. Bad ones. I have taken better ones, I'll just have to get them on my comp. GL pictures in there are mainly engine pics because the body is in pretty bad shape.

(rust mainly, because of the insane amount of salting of the roads in wintertime here in Finland... Your car will rust allmost in a year without somekind of rust-protection) Goes like hell though with the turbo.. Quicker than GLT even though the GL is only a carb turbo and GLT has 4-point injection. And GLT in those pictures is in shape as it was when I bought it. Now it has been waxed and shiny.

Yep, though the carb is not the original r-sport kit carb. It has Weber 32 DAT in it. The cars previous owner was a retired Volvo mechanic who build it. It has also couple of other things added in it, Koni lowering springs/suspension (for leaf springs also) for example etc... Damn shame that the body has gone in so bad shape..

Koni lowering leaf springs? The actual springs are replacement items? If so, that's awesome.
I'm guessing it can't run much boost with a DIR32, as they're tiny for a (2.0?). What is the MPI engine in the GLT? With carb that small, the ET/FT engine ought to wipe the floor with the carb one!
Great to see two more 360 turbos anyway!
cheers

Yeah, I was surprised too that it makes even that much of power with comparatively low boost. Im not also sure what else to that engine in GL has been done, so hard to compare those two cars. GLT leaks a bit thouhg between the exhaust manifold and the turbo so it makes a bit power-loss. Got new selas waiting... GLT has stock LE-Jetronic and extra ECU which controls extra fuel injector placed before intake manifold. Extra ECU is controlled by pressure switch so it gives more gasoline under boost.
Not exactly the leafs itself has been replaced, (or atleast I think so

) but there are kind of "blocks" between the rear axel and springs so it drops a car bit.
http://www.300power.com/garaget/sanka.htm Somewhat like that.
It has also Koni anti-roll bars. I suppose that Koni manufactured those chassis parts for 300-series in late 80's so hard to get those parts nowdays... (Would have bought those in my GLT also

)

Hi everyone! Well, I've finally reduced the sizeof my pics to a size that my internet provider will allow on my homepage, so here at last are some images of my 360GLT:
I've owned her for about two months now, although I've only been driving her regularly for the last couple of weeks after getting some problems sorted out (well, almost sorted out) by the guy who sold her to me. There are still a couple of issues to be addressed, but more of that in the technical area of the forum. Cheers!
