Indeed, cheers Mick. I will eventually scan them all, or at least the ones that differ from the others that will hopefully be available to view on V3M one day. There are many variants of the brochures. Sadly some are very overpriced on Ebay.

yeah well free time & web building inspiration are always problematic ofcourse...

at V3C we 'solved' this by finding a indexing program that makes it possible to do nothing but upload files to the right folders. that way we don't have to add hyperlinks to the webpages, its done automatically.
for the technical documents, this works superb.

This thread got missed out of the new Technical Resources & information section - would be really nice to have this stuff up and securely hosted.

I've got UK 360 brochures both '84 and '85 if needed

I think from my talks with Aymat, these are in the pipeline. I've sent some of my rarer brochures via MSN to Aymat, so hopefully this section will be along soon, along with Chesh's great idea of the adverts section, to which I can probably add a few that might be not so well remembered.

If anyone's interested I've got loads of Volvo 343 - 360 brochures (including 4 or 5 accessory brochures) from 1976 through to 1990 - afraid they're all in German but I suppose the pictures are all the same ...

I'll post a list soon, if I can help anyone out with a scan just let me know ...

Accessories brochures sound cool mate, especially the later ones! I can understand some German!

Come on Aymat! When you've got it sorted I'll see which brochures you have and which I've sent you already, then scan the others that aren't already with you or that are different.

For the Mk III I've got German versions of the 1988 (incl. price list) and 1990 accessory brochures, but they don't differ much from the 1989 French brochure listed here:

http://www.volvo300mania.com/access89a.htm
http://www.volvo300mania.com/access89b.htm

In 1990 they seemed to change the design of the "cavity covers" and the 1988 brochure is missing "Alloy Wheel No. 5" and a couple of the radios, but that's about it.

Ahh interesting on the cavity covers! I think there may possibly be three versions then? I've seen a set in an early Mk2 that were blue from memory and a different shape design on the faces. I'm guessing the more common ones are the ones I have, with the recessed areas. Would the later ones still be the completely flat faced ones my memory seems to think I've seen in a picture?

The more info, pictures, brochures etc the better!

This type of "cavity cover"

http://www.volvo300mania.com/pictures/access89_17.jpg

seemed to be on offer from 1983 (maybe earlier) up to 1989. The 1990 ones are flatter. Strange, that they should change their design in the last years of production.

I'll take a quick picture of that page this evening and post it here ...
