Bodejodel, have you had areply from the injection moulders yet

The one I contacted did not have machines big enough for the part.
It seems to be quite a big part for injection molding.
I've contacted another company with bigger machines but had no replie yet...

Is it just me or do's this look like the same shape as the 300 snow cap , I know it dosn't have the washer holes and unfortunately has Skoda written on it but it could make a good base for a snowcap mould.

Whats wrong with Skoda written on it

(I'm a bit of a fan).
You can get various different styles of these bonnet vents, readily available from Czech. I was speaking to Chris_C about it the other day and we wondered if it was possible.
Anyway.. don't bid, my mates after it for his Rapid

Yeah, it was on the thinking list, but they seem to be almost as hard to get as volvo ones

And don't worry Steve, I won't diss Skoda, they're not French

I aint dissin skodas , I used to own one of the fastest estelle 120 L5's in Britain , had a rally stage 3 136 engine ,ashley exhaust and twin webers onit . used to make astra GTE and XR3i drivers cry as I left them standing, anyway its gone up to about £20.00 now so your mate can have it ( mine even had a rear window louvre , loofer , loafer thingy as well )

Mick that sounds cool.. the 136 is an impressive engine when tuned - I'd imagine with the spec of yours (depending on cams and cylinder head work) you must've been around the 110-120bhp mark?! I am quite tempted by an Estelle, tuning can be done easily and relatively cheaply and them rear window louvres are quite hard to find now! By the way what happened to your Estelle?
Erm.. slightly off topic, sorry!

I sold it to buy a citroen BX GTI 16 Valve now that is a rocket, theres a skoda rapide ric on ebay at the moment with the rear louvre body kit and spot light grille , Here you go then
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... eName=WDVW , I know its off topic but it is my topic , that car is one of the last ones made and well worth a look

Yep, I've had my eye on that.. its rather tasty! Better that its been converted to carb rather than the RIC injection crap - although that is likely to have the 135 engine rather than the 136 higher compression

They're always bloody regal red though! hmm the BX GTI/405 Mi16 engines are supposed to be good.

Guess which carbs the forerunner to the BX GTI 16v - the BX Sport - had?!
